This signature detects attempts to exploit a known SQL Injection vulnerability in PHP-Nuke content manager. An attacker can exploit this issue by manipulating the SQL query logic to carry out unauthorized actions on the underlying database.
PHP-Nuke is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data before using it in an SQL query. Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database. PHP-Nuke versions 8.1.0.3.5b and prior are affected.
