This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in DNSTools, a DNS administration Web tool. Versions earlier than 2.0b5 are vulnerable. Because DNSTools does not initialize two variables that control authorization, attackers can send a maliciously crafted URL containing "user_logged_in=true" and "user_dnstools_administrator=YES" to obtain full administrative access.
Attackers could exploit this vulnerability to gain administrator access to the DNSTool.
