This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the Joomla and Mambo com_restaurante component. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this issue by manipulating the SQL query logic to carry out unauthorized actions on the underlying database.
The Comp Restaurante component for Joomla! and Mambo is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data before using it in an SQL query. Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database. Comp Restaurante 1.0 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
