VNC: RealVNC VNC Server ClientCutText Message Buffer Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the RealVNC VNC Server. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the targeted application.
Extended Description
RealVNC Viewer is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue to crash the affected application, denying service to legitimate users. RealVNC 4.1.3 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
