FINGER: Bomb DoS
This signature detects Finger Bomb attacks using the FINGER service. Attackers can send FINGER requests containing consecutive "@" characters, causing the FINGER service to repeatedly FINGER the same system and creating a denial of service (DoS).
Extended Description
Successful exploitation would enable an attacker to crash or slow down an infected machine.
