HTTP: Adobe RoboHelp Server Arbitrary File Upload and Execute


This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against Adobe RoboHelp. It is due to insufficient validation of POST requests sent to the management web server. A successful attack can lead to arbitrary code execution.

Extended Description

Adobe RoboHelp Server is prone to an authentication-bypass vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue to upload and execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges. RoboHelp Server 8.0 is affected; other versions may also be vulnerable.
