HTTP: RealPlayer SWF Flash File Buffer Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in RealNetworks RealPlayer. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the user.
Extended Description
Various RealNetworks products are prone to multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities. These issues can result in memory corruption and facilitate arbitrary code execution. A successful attack can allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application to gain unauthorized access.
